How do you redefine the visual language for a brand in the middle of its own strategic evolution?
Cadence lives at the forefront of technology, creating intelligent design systems that enable many of the digital advancements we experience everyday. They needed a new design language that reflects who they are both today and into their future. 
While Cadence was eager to update their design language and visual presence, they were hesitant to re-evaluate their logo or wordmark. It became our challenge to infuse new meaning within the logo and use it as a launchpad for the rest of the new design system.
Building off their tiered "intelligent system design" strategy, we created a layered language of design elements to work in concert with a variety of communication channels from product to employee, physical and digital.
